Second programming language can be called assembly language. It uses symbols instead of binary and was more efficient.
Both first and second are machine dependent, time consuming and are termed as low level languages.
Third is high level language, more simple and easy to use and not machine dependent. Few examples in this are Java, C. C++, etc.
Fourth one is more advanced high level language than the third one. It was fast, more user friendly and less time consuming. Examples in this are Python, SQL, Ruby, etc.
Fifth generation of programming language is basically for the development of artificial intelligence programs. Examples can be Prolog, mercury, etc.
